On a cold and snowy morning in Highland Park, we gathered at Love that Spice to make Fire Cider, an ancient folk remedy modernized by renowned herbalist Rosemary Gladstar. Love that Spice owner, Marlena, taught us about the health benefits of the spices used in the tonic. The shop was filled with fragrant spices, inspiring conversation, laughter and warm connection.
